THE POSITION

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented QA Manager to join the Marketing Technology & Operations team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing our quality assurance processes, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality before reaching our customers. The QA Manager will also be responsible for establishing a formal QA framework alongside cross-functional stakeholders to ensure that all FanDuel communications  are held to a high standard.

THE GAME PLAN

  • Develop and implement QA policies & procedures to ensure product and communications quality meets or exceeds industry standards.
  • Lead and manage a team of QA professionals, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts to validate new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Oversee the execution of testing activities, ensuring thorough test coverage.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business stakeholders (Commercial, Marketing, Data, Operations, Compliance et al), to identify quality issues and drive solutions.
  • Establish and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to track and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the QA process.
  • Provide insights into the quality of products or processes through data analysis.
  • Identify and assess project risks related to quality and define mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct regular audits to assess compliance with QA standards and identify areas for improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, new technologies, and tools related to quality assurance.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance.           
  • Proven track record of designing and implementing successful QA processes and methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with digital content and email campaigning testing.
  • Experience with User Experience testing methodologies like A/B testing.
  • Experience with Marketing platforms testing and predictive analytics.
  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.

The applicable salary range for this position is $114,000-$143,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
