DEI at FanDuel

There's nothing quite like sports when it comes to bringing people together and FanDuel is no different.

When people from all walks of life come together under a shared purpose, beautiful things happen.

There's a place on FanDuel's team for everyone, no matter how you got here. Belonging for us is celebrating individuality and creating an environment where everyone can succeed and reach their potential.

Keita

"FanDuel has made diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging a guiding principle, as we build and grow the best teams for our business. We strive to hire top, diverse talent and commit to supporting and nurturing their careers with us."

Our ERGs

ERGs, or Employee Resource Groups are voluntary, employee-led groups whose aim is to foster a diverse, inclusive workplace aligned with the organizations they serve.

They're usually led and participated in by employees who share a characteristic, whether it's gender, ethnicity, religious affiliation, lifestyle, or interest. The groups exist to provide support and help in personal or career development and to create a safe space where employees can bring their whole selves to the table. Allies may also be invited to join the ERG to support their colleagues.

BOLD (Black Organization for Leadership and Development)

BOLD Mission Statement: To create a supportive community for those of the African diaspora; raise awareness of black culture and history; address and elevate work and societal issues faced by members of the Black community; and help drive FanDuel’s business objectives, goals, and principals.

WIN (Women's Impact Network)

WIN Mission statement: We are a team working in technology at FanDuel who want to help enable women in the field to be successful here, and beyond. We strive to identify inherent institutional biases affecting women in technology and implement solutions that deliver lasting change.

SPEAK (Asian American and Pacific Islander)

SPEAK Mission Statement: In the words of our principle “We are one team,” SPEAK hopes to make a more cohesive atmosphere by focusing on creating a solidarity group and safe space for FanDuel Group employees to come together and address Asian American issues in the workplace and community.

The Outfield (LGBTQIA)

The Outfield Mission Statement: To promote an open culture throughout the FanDuel community, to advance LGBTQ+ inclusion and to provide a safe, non-judgmental space for LGBTQ+ staff members.

Women in leadership summit

Investing in our employees

Women’s Leadership Summit: In April, 2023, FanDuel hosted its very first Senior Women’s Leadership Summit. For two days our women leaders engaged, empowered, and elevated one another through seminars, development sessions, and networking opportunities. The Summit was created as part of our dedication to advancing FanDuel's senior women leaders from across the globe. We also hosted some outstanding speakers who shared their insights, experiences, and career journeys. One of the key takeaways from the Summit was the importance of building and maintaining a strong network of supporters and allies.

Our partnerships

Our current DEI partners.

Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)

FanDuel partners with HBCUs across the country to support early talent through our summer internships and early careers programming. Clark Atlanta University, Morehouse College, Spelman University, Morgan State University, and Howard University are among some of the schools where we have an active presence on campus during career and internship events.

United Negro College Fund (UNCF)

On the heels of recently launching its sportsbook in Maryland, FanDuel and UNCF will work with Morgan State University, Bowie State University, Coppin State University and University of Maryland-Eastern Shore to financially support students enrolled at the schools. The donation will specifically go towards helping students in a variety of areas, including technology, housing, food security, tuition, and other education-related expenses. As part of the partnership, FanDuel will also be creating a track for students from the four schools to join its annual summer internship program at the company's headquarters in New York.

The Future is LGBTQ+

Where we are now, and where we are going to, would not have been possible without the individuals who came before us.
