THE POSITION

We are looking for a Senior Brand Manager to join our Casino marketing team as we reach a critical point in our journey. This is a pivotal role that will shape how we build our brand as the business grows. Responsible for driving strategic and creative briefs across integrated campaigns to bring to life messages that will be compelling to our target audience, this role will work alongside all marketing teams to ensure high quality execution upholding our brand proposition. The ideal candidate has experience working on brands in competitive markets, can contribute to the building of communications platforms, and relishes working with a range of stakeholders.

Reporting into the Director of Brand Strategy, this is an impactful role that will help deliver the long-term strategic direction of our marketing in our drive to become America’s next iconic sports & gaming brand.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Lead how we leverage talent and partnerships across all our Casino brand touchpoints and communicate plans and strategies across the wider org.
  • Become the go to person for evaluating new talent and partnership opportunities to grow our Casino brand.
  • Lead communication with creative teams throughout the campaign production cycle, developing creative with performance-driven insights.
  • Work with our research/insight’s teams, organic social & partnerships teams to measure key brand metrics and identify opportunities for driving improvements.
  • Understand, optimize, and implement our brand strategy to drive growth against key Casino business objectives.
  • Collaborate with other teams throughout the business as they bring the brand to life across all touchpoints.
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of competitor brand positioning and consumer response to these strategies.
  • Be a customer advocate in all marketing campaigns, ensuring that the brand and our casino target audience are at the heart of our created communications.
  • Shape media planning and effectively work with our media teams to bring our Casino messaging to life within key channels and tentpole moments
  • Translate critical business problems into effective creative briefs while optimizing our creative development/delivery process.
  • Build the internal brand of casino – create a drumbeat of company-wide internal comms opportunities.

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • 6+ years of experience in brand, communications, or marketing. Ideally would have category experience - e.g., online gaming, streaming, e-commerce, or high-growth B2C digital-only product
  • Experience managing talent & influencers for brand campaigns strongly preferred.
  • Experience working on both new and existing brands in competitive markets
  • Experience applying traditional brand building skills in a growth and performance-oriented digital business
  • Ability to critically evaluate creative execution to ensure it delivers on our objectives
  • Ability to work with a wide variety of stakeholders to understand problems and help solve them with action
  • Understands data – whether that’s business, media, or brand health data to give the context on why we need to prioritize activity
  • Capability to ingest research and insight, identifying what draws customers to the brand and how to maximize this in communications
  • Self starter – is able to diagnose a problem or opportunity and goes and finds out how we can make it happen.
  • Enjoys the pace of a growing business, can work fast when required but is also able to step back and work strategically.
  • High quality interpersonal and presentation skills – people enjoy working with you, and you inspire with your passion for the brand.

The applicable salary range for this position is $118,000-$147,000, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
