THE POSITION

We are looking for an Organic Social Media Manager to lead and create Casino brand content. This role, reporting to the Organic Social Media Senior Manager, will be critical in driving growth and engagement across all our social channels. This is an impactful role that will work alongside all marketing teams to uphold our brand proposition and help deliver against our long-term brand objectives. The ideal candidate will have experience working on high quality brands in competitive markets, a thorough understanding of social best practices, and a passion for understanding our target audience.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Work closely with the Organic Social Media Senior Manager to help shape and implement our organic social strategy
  • Identify, curate, and create social media content that drives growth and engagement across the various channels, positively contributes to key Casino business objectives, and protects the FanDuel Casino brand
  • Ensure all editorial calendars, assets, and content are timely and up-to-date - i.e., planning, scheduling, proofreading and properly executing content across all social channels
  • Collaborate with creative teams to produce graphics and videos that are on brand and optimized for social channels
  • Manage influencer partnerships to enhance brand visibility and drive engagement across digital platforms
  • Keep a pulse on the ever-evolving social and digital world to ensure FanDuel Casino maximizes its impact in the space
  • Learn and stay informed on the ever-changing Casino product, promos, market, customer, and our competitive set
  • Manage and deploy a six-figure marketing budget across social channels in a way that aligns with our broader goals
  • Assist with cross-functional marketing campaigns, including games, contests, and giveaways, ensuring best practices are met and messaging/assets are properly executed on owned social channels
  • Track and report on FanDuel Casino’s social media KPIs and provide recommendations for optimization
  • Attend FanDuel events as needed, ensuring complete social coverage in a professional manner

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • At least 5 years of content creation and/or editorial experience in the casino, gambling, igaming, or sports spaces preferred (working in social media and/or journalism)
  • At least 3 years of Organic Social Media experience across a variety of social media platforms required, including but not limited to Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, and YouTube
  • At least 2 years of managing on-camera talent strongly preferred.
  • Strong grammar skills and meticulous attention to detail required.
  • Ability to create engaging social media copy with minimal guidance.
  • Extensive knowledge of internet culture required.
  • Basic knowledge of casino games required; passion for casino games strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency in graphic design and video editing is a plus, preferably with comfort and familiarity in the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and After Effects)
  • Ability to work at pace, navigate through change, and multi-task in real time.
  • Must be willing to work nights, weekends & holidays, if necessary, as well as being on call for urgent PR matters
  • Team-first attitude with strong collaboration and interpersonal skills is required.

The applicable salary range for this position is $91,000 – $114,000 which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
