THE POSITION

FanDuel Group is looking for an Associate of VIP Partnerships to support FanDuel’s VIP hospitality and event offerings. This position lives on the VIP Ops team, responsible for orchestrating VIP partnership marketing, tracking customer behavior and improving customer retention rates through analytics and future enhancements. Spanning both acquisition and retention, this position will play a crucial role in enhancing customer satisfaction and business growth by streamlining and scaling our VIP marketing processes across Sportsbook, Casino, Racing and DFS.

THE GAME PLAN
Everyone on our team has a part to play

  • Day-to-day Operations
    • Subject Matter Expert (SME) with all current partnerships and capabilities
    • Maintain a strong relationship with the partners while pushing them for enhanced/increased capabilities for business needs/changes
    • Become the voice by communicating current partner attributes with both internal and external stakeholders including KAMs, and Senior leadership.  
    • Research new potential partners based on strategic guidance from Senior Leadership, VIP Directors, and VIP Operations (pipeline and building the funnel) 
    • Contribute in regular meetings with internal VIP operations teams and stakeholders to support new launches and projects 
    • Collaborate with other departments to better align the strategy and development of new partnerships based on KAM feedback from VIPs
    • Helping with day-to-day operations of new partnerships to ensure timely launches
      • Attend partnership events in person to ensure smooth operating conditions
      • Collecting feedback to make the partnership even more successful
      • Work alongside partnership marketing to ensure effective partnership launch for acquisition-based marketing 
      • Work alongside operations associates to ensure partnership communication is properly documented (confluence) 
    • Supporting acquisition focused opportunities at events with pre/post event strategies and promotions, working alongside internal team members when necessary
  • Research and Development:
    • Internal advocate to reach out to KAM’s to brainstorm new partnership opportunities 
    • Taking new ideas to a new level and making sure we are putting in place the right partnership at the right time
    • Be another advocate for new partnership ideas from KAM’s
    • Mentor new hire with legal and onboarding processes  
  • Budgeting:
    • Track budgets with VIP team to ensure utilize the player entertainment budget effectively
    • Manage tracking tools for all partnerships  

THE STATS
What we're looking for in our next teammate

  • Minimum 3 years of experience partnership development and relationship marketing. (Gaming or high-end event planning preferred)
  • Confident and people focused personality
  • Excellent analytical skills and experience with Excel
  • Strives to meet targets and deadlines
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills
  • Understanding of Marketing processes preferred
  • Willing and able to work non-traditional business hours
  • Travel for this role is expected around 30% of the time

The applicable hourly range for this position is $26.92 - $37.02, which is dependent on a variety of factors including relevant experience, location, business needs and market demand. This role may offer the following benefits: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; disability insurance; a 401(k) matching program; among other employee benefits. This role may also be eligible for short-term or long-term incentive compensation, including, but not limited to, cash bonuses and stock program participation. This role includes paid personal time off and 14 paid company holidays. FanDuel offers paid sick time in accordance with all applicable state and federal laws.
